Payment

• Orders under $100 require full payment upfront before production begins.
• Orders between $100 and $500 require a 50% deposit before work begins. The remaining balance must be paid before collection or delivery.
• Orders over $500 require a minimum 50% deposit. A larger deposit may be required where significant material costs are involved.
• Production will not commence until the required payment or deposit has been received.

Custom Orders

As our products are custom made to each customer's requirements, production will only commence once payment requirements have been met and the final artwork has been approved.

Once production has commenced, cancellations or change-of-mind refunds may not be available for custom-made products.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Artwork & Proof Approval

Customers will be provided with an artwork proof where applicable. It is the customer's responsibility to carefully check:

• Spelling and contact details
• Colours
• Sizes and dimensions
• Quantity
• Layout and design

Production will begin once the customer approves the final proof. Mates Signs & Graphics is not responsible for customer-approved errors that were clearly shown on the final proof.

Artwork Changes

Up to 2 reasonable artwork revisions are included with custom orders unless otherwise stated.

Additional revisions or substantial redesign work may incur an additional design fee. Any additional charges will be advised before proceeding.

Turnaround Time

Our standard turnaround time is approximately 7 business days unless otherwise advised.

Turnaround begins once:

1. The required payment has been received; and
2. Final artwork has been approved.

Larger or specialised orders may require additional production time.

Collection & Delivery

All outstanding balances must be paid before products are collected or delivered unless prior account arrangements have been approved.

Delivery and postage charges may apply and will be quoted separately where required.

Customer Application

For products supplied for customer application, Mates Signs & Graphics cannot accept responsibility for damage or application issues caused by incorrect installation, application, surface preparation or removal.

Deposits & Cancellations

Deposits secure your order and allow us to commence design work, order materials and schedule production.

If an order is cancelled after design work, material ordering or production has commenced, amounts already paid may be retained to cover costs reasonably incurred.

Business Accounts

Approved business customers may be offered 7-day payment terms.

Account terms must be approved by Mates Signs & Graphics before the order is placed.

Overdue Accounts

Overdue accounts may result in further orders being placed on hold until outstanding balances are paid.

Account privileges may also be withdrawn for repeatedly overdue accounts.

Colours

Colours displayed on phones, computers and digital proofs may vary from the final printed product.

Where exact colour matching is required, this must be discussed before artwork approval and production.

Acceptance of Terms

Payment of a deposit, payment of an invoice, written approval of artwork or instruction to proceed with an order will be considered acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
